Coastal Movement

Love this studio! They offer several different types of mat Pilates classes some heated while some are not. Each and every one of the instructors and the owner, Lauren, are so friendly and welcoming. The classes are challenging and enjoyable to take, really making the workout fun. The studio is clean and the props are well maintained and organized. I would 100% recommend that you try out this studio if you have not been yet!

This is my go-to pilates studio! It's mat pilates, so you bring your own mat and grippy socks, and the studio provides light equipment like resistance bands, wrist weights, magic circle, etc. It's a fun little community, and I love that there are special events like pilates classes paired with wine (pinot and pilates) or little games like bingo so you can win prizes for working out.

Coastal Movement is a great mat pilates studio! The instructors are amazing, offering three distinct class types. My personal favorite is the Salt class, which is heated. I look forward to Lauren and Harmony's classes every week! Coastal Movement is a young, fun, and peaceful studio with a fantastic member community. I highly recommend trying their classes!!

Coastal Movement is an amazing Mat Pilates studio! Lauren (owner) is so nice, welcoming, and informative. Such a cute and clean studio. As a beginner with Pilates, I HIGHLY recommend coming here. I love that CM has 6am classes to get my day started and energized, especially before work. The instructors (I’ve had Lauren, Harmony, and Noelle) are so motivational, positive, and the music incorporated with the classes get you going and feel the burn! After incorporating Mat Pilates with my routine weight training and running, I feel a difference in my performance and I feel so much stronger! CM is a great addition to the community 🩷.

I absolutely love this studio! The owner Lauren has such an amazing passion for Pilates and teaching. The studio is beautiful, clean and they have a great variety of instructors! I adore all the kinds of classes they offer & the times, since I feel like my schedule is always changing! My favorite Pilates studio in the Monterey area!

I recently moved to Monterey and was looking for a community. This Pilates studio is the best decision for anyone looking for a workout home. Everyone is amazing; from the instructors, to the members, to the folks Lauren works with for pop ups. The Pilates classes are great and I love all the varieties. There is something for everyone from Flow to Salt and Surge! Highly recommend would give 10 stars if I could!
